- Designed and field-tested flexible membrane blades for a 12-foot Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) for low-cost implementation.

A native of Albany, New York, Sara moved to Palo Alto, California for school in pursuit of renewable energy opportunities. Once there, she discovered her interests in product development, machining, and data analysis, while retaining her passions for traveling, performing in classical music ensembles, and swimming.
